So far my experience with my Forestwest bandsaw has been very good. I have been around woodworking machines for nearly 35 years, but this was my first bandsaw. The fit and the finish is all good. Delivery was fast and it was easy to set up. The position of the blade guard makes it difficult to see everything you need to see for the set up. Also I think I might have to replace one of the bearing guide screws as it doesn’t clamp down properly. All and all it’s a decent bandsaw and it gets the job done. I’m happy with my purchase.
Nice saw
Just purchased this saw, have been using to cut PTFE (Teflon) blocks. Love saw, very well built, easy to adjust, quick assembly, good build quality. Easy to set saw tracking, all adjustments ��tool-less��. Highly recommend.
happy with bandsaw
I've been using my saw for about two months and it has been wonderful. The table is large, the motor has plenty of power for my needs. It takes some time to make adjustments, especially the blade guides, but it is doable. It is well worth taking time to make the necessary fine tune adjustments.
Forestwest Band Saw
Great saw cuts good out of the box with minor adjustments. I do mostly small bowl blanks and other small items with it and so far has been as good or better then my old 12" rigid I sold last month.
