Forestwest Kinetic Log Splitter Tested with Hardwood

The summer of 2021 has not warmed up yet, and winter is still far away. But we already see many customer start to prepare firewoods for this winter, you might think this is too early. Well, yes and no. It is always good to be prepared, and you know summer is the best time to season your firewood so that they can burn properly.

Today, I just want to share with you a short demo video we did for a couple who own a cottage in Melbourne. Since they need to prepare firewood for their customers, they need to get a early start. They brought the toughest wood they can find, quite a few pieces, came to our Forestwest Melbourne Showroom (U1/100 Monash Drive Dandenong South), and we tried the 7ton unit for them. This is what happened:

We tried gums, yellow box, and some other types of hardwood that we cannot recognize. They are surprised by what this small unit is capable of, so am I. They decided to go with the 15ton kinetic log splitter to get the extra power.

If you are still tossing between a kinetic log splitter and a hydraulic one, hope this video can help you decide. And if you wonder what capacity you need, we offer 7ton, 10ton, 15ton, 18ton, 26ton and 34ton, petrol and electric log splitters. You can always contact our friendly staff to discuss about what you need. And if you are close to our Melbourne (Dandenong South) or Perth (Canning Vale) store. Come and visit us, request a demo on the 7ton log splitter, and see for yourself.

The year 2020 has been tough, and honestly we don't expect 2021 to be any better. But we know, this time, we will be ready.

We wish the best to all of you.
