Purchase and shipping was smooth. Just a few bolt on parts and it’s good to go Huge drawback in the operating instructions —- DO NOT POWER FROM A GENERATOR, DAMAGE TO THE MOTOR MAY OCCUR!! What’s up with that !! I would not have bought it if I knew I couldn’t use my generator for power without voiding any warranty on the motor

Overall: Very satisfied to date! PROS: Runs so quietly you can hear the birds singing!, Two handed operation makes it safe. Has cut maple, beech and oak including 16 inch sections over 26 inches in dia. very effectively. Have been cutting and stacking 4 cords a day to date. CONS: Bolts on the handle vibrate loose after running a few hours but easy to fix. The wheel base is a bit too narrow making the center of gravity too high, It risks tipping on the way to the work site on on my hilly uneven property if I am not careful. wider wheel base and better tires would take this to another level. Once in place very stable.

To every logsplitter enthousiast. I use this splitter quite a lot especially this time a year. Its a powerfull machine. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is only because the handle falls apart. the two bolts no matter how strong you bolt them together because of the vibration of the unit when splitting turn loose. I put some blue on it to keep tight. Also, I am using a stick to flip the handle as the shock is hard on the hand, Mind you that I am disabled on my right hand and the engage handle kick back might hurt me more then you. Overall a really good strong machine but hope they redesign the handle to absorb more of the shock. Would be helpful for a lot of people with arthritis or other hand problems. A few inch higher would be awesome too. I am 6'1", like the average European height and its a bit low for me. The wheels on the unit are great but almost impossible to move around because of the way the handle is welded on the bar. In my opinion it is a set and forget splitter and you leave it where you put it with a cover over it. But, with written all of the above, a really strong, quite running electrical motor, good machine.
