A great value-for-money extractor for home workshop use. It has a 2HP motor that is rated to flow up to 1,790CFM. The larger motor and 12" impeller create extra capacity making it generally suitable for extraction of a single large dust-volume generating machine at any one time like planing or heavy-duty routing where one of the inlets can be blocked off for maximum suction through one path.

CanadaSwitch issue
Bought in 2020, and overall I am satisfied with the unit. It works very well paired with my Craftex CX15HC. That being said, back in June of 2023 the on/off switch died. Forestwest assisted with diagnosing the issue, which was great. It was past it's warranty period so I was very pleased that they still took the time to help, and sent a replacement at no cost. It took quite a while for the replacement to arrive, but it resolved the problem - so yay! As of last week the unit failed to start again. I'm in the middle of a job so I have yet to do anything about it; just switched to another collector. I assume the switch has gone again. Not sure if it's just cheap switches or if something else is frying them.
