Quiet, smooth running, fun to use! I love it. I could not be happier with my new lathe.
Smooth
Bought it a couple days ago. Decades of woodworking experience but new to turning. Love the electronic variable speed, much easier than moving belts. Thinking of getting the bed extension. Collecting lathe shavings and dust is a challenge - I have 2 Jet dust collectors including a ceiling mounted unit. Still have to do some sweeping.
Variable Wood Lathe
Very easy to setup. Instruction were clear. I have only turned a couple small items but was surprised at how quiet it is. The digital read out was very helpful. Has very good power on the items I have turned. Easy to adjust on different setups I have done. I would recommend it.
This is one FINE LATHE.
I turn alot & have for a very long time. This Lathe is so smooth with no vibration and the adjustable speed is a big plus. Out of the box and into production in under 30 min. Everything I wanted from a lathe I found with this one. The price is a big plus so if you are thinking about buying this lathe do it before the price reflects the quality.

Brilliant Machine! Great Price Point!
This machine is marvelous! I had a Rikon that had a ton of issues, so I replaced it with this lathe. I am nothing but impressed. The belt change mechanism is seamless, the control interface is both beautiful and easy to use. If youvplan on getting into turning, get this lathe. It??s perfect for beginners, but has all the power you will need as you learn and go pro.
